Starting from March 26, 2014, at the population registration offices in Germany, there is the possibility of registering Orthodox Romanians with the logo "rx", which means "rumänisch-orthodox" for the authorities. Although the authorities in all the Länder have been informed about this, they have so far only partially implemented it, so that on the registration forms at the citizen offices (Anmeldeamt) the logo "rx" is not yet entered in the registration forms, for now appearing only the logos "go" for Orthodox Greeks and "ro" for Orthodox Russians. Orthodox Romanians must declare themselves as such and tell the respective officials that there is also the "rx" logo for Orthodox Romanians, requesting registration accordingly. In this regard, the Ministry of the Interior's communiqués ordering the implementation of this matter at the federal level can be presented to the offices.
The appropriate registration will also be requested when a newborn baby is registered at the civil offices.
Our correct registration at the population registration offices is very important from several points of view, of which we highlight two:
All Romanian Orthodox believers are strongly requested to sign up properly from now on with the "rx" logo. This must also be done by all those who have been registered so far in the civil records, because, in the absence of a special logo for them, they were registered as Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox or something else.
